FAQ

1. What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a process where a coach helps clients clarify their goals, overcome barriers, and design a plan to make positive changes and achieve desired outcomes in their lives.

2. Does a life coach tell me exactly what to do?

No. The relationship between a coach and client is co-creative, meaning that we are equals and should both take an active role. While I am not a licensed therapist, counselor, or SLP, I am a certified life coach using practiced communication skills to support you. Together we have an opportunity to create infinite power within you to make meaningful changes and achieve your goals.

3. What is my role during a coaching session?

Your role is to come prepared with what you would like to take away from each session, otherwise known as the “Client Agenda.” Please arrive to your session centered and ready to engage. Don’t be afraid to give me feedback in the moment about your coaching experience. Have fun!

4. What is the “hybrid” option?

The hybrid option basically combines straight life coaching with vocal coaching as well. We will address your aspirations and concerns, and then create a training plan to help you work towards your singing goals.

5. What if I just want vocal training?

Not everyone is ready for or interested in life coaching. For those who prefer vocal lessons only, you can choose between a 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute option.

6. How does payment work?

Payment must be paid monthly or received in full before the first session. I accept and prefer Venmo payments, but will also accept Paypal, Zelle, or cash.

7. What is the main reason people fail to achieve their dreams?

They don’t set realistic goals. A goal should be high enough to hit, but low enough to matter. By helping you set realistic goals, we will take you step-by-step into the future that can be instead of a future that is limited.
